Why Envy will struggle on 2026 KICK/OFF

One of the (not the only one) main reasons 2G struggled so much at the start of VCT Americas was not using the OFF SEASON as proper way to test their new roster and correct team issues. Instead, during the Tixinha Invitational, they decided to run a mix of spike and gobera to let spike enjoy a few games before he had to go to the bench, while Zap took a backseat and didn't lead the team (let's not get started on the coaching subbing for gobera in Abyss because he had to go to church get baptized).

Envy is currently playing RBHG without either of their longterm subs (Keznit is understandable because he is in Chile but still) and instead deciding to run ion and cane for a few games before they go tier 2 again. With less than 2 months to KICK/OFF, I think they will have no prep time. They might do a little better than 2G but I don't see them going very far.

sure but the main reason they struggled is because they didn't have their best player until the last stage, going from Cane to Keznit is arguably an upgrade.
