only good example is envy/optic, but even back then you could see the potential with that roster. when i look at g2 all i don’t see much potential left, it genuinely feels like bangkok is closest they’ll ever get to an international win.

Yeah saying ENVY/OPTIC is reasonable but they won within the next 2 events played. It’s equivalent to if G2 won Champs after losing Bangkok. I honestly think optic would’ve made changes if they only placed 8th or whatever at Reykjavik instead of winning it

Jonah provided G2 the opportunity to play multiple comps due to his ability to flex. He might not have been the most consistent fragger but he was no way subpar. Any roster would only benefit from picking up jonah and they would instantly be an upgrade especially C9 with a first time IG, 100T with Jonah - Asuna, furia - artzin + jonah , envy will only benefit from Jonah's experience etc. As for Jonah's replacement the pickings are slim but they can go for Shyy, yay in the new meta would not be a bad pickup given he perma plays all senti and leaf has to flex more. Seven would a good pickup as well.
