Agreed. It's his girlfriend's issue to start off with and if anything, he will just resolve it behind the scenes since not everything and every reaction needs to be posted online. Honestly, legit response from him. I mainly mention the whole resolve it behind the scenes because factors like whether he knew about her behaviour prior to the tweets about the girlfriend matter. Making a decision which changes your relationships in less than a couple of hours can be pretty rough.
Also, if he says that he doesn't tolerate hatred in his circle, it would lead people to expect that he probably dumps her for this behaviour. I just saw a little offshoot from a repost of the same screenshot where one person just implied that if he doesn't break up with her, he doesn't care about the issue and another person implying he's probably gonna break up.
