FNC just lost 3-2 after nearly making a run back
in the cool down room the players are sitting frustrated and exhausted
boaster, the igl, steps in the middle of the room and begins his speech:
"alright boys, i know how you feel right now, I also feel defeated and to see another trophy so close yet so far out of reach... BUT we should not give up yet! I want you to remember who we are, we are Fnatic, we are the most historic team in the VCT, so i dont want you to hang your heads low, i know how much you want this trophy, so, Lets not focus on the moment and start focusing on next season!"
all the players look up, still being disapointed, but they dont seem to be hopless anymore
boaster takes this moment to say:
"i want you to never forget who we are! so say it with me, who are we?"
"FNC" the team responds
after a while
crashies aproches boaster
"thanks boaster, your speech back there, it was exactly the thing we needed"
"its my duty, anyways crashies, do you know where the rest of the boys are?"
"they have gone back to the hotel already, packing their stuff, i wanted to ask you: do you wanna take a walk with me, talk about the game a bit?"
"sure, i don't see why not"
so, after their conversation boaster and crashies go out for a walk. when they reach the eiffel tower, boaster asks crashies
"do you think the time of Fnatic is over?"
crashies, taken aback by boasters sudden question responds:
"why would you say that, we are Fnatic, we are THE team to beat at every international, whats with the sudden doubt?"
"you know i havent been shooting well in a world with fragging Igls. I feel like im responsible for holding the team back"
"boaster," crashies touches boasters shoulders, firmly gripping them, "do you know why we are able to not be frustrated mid game even though we are in a big deficit?"
