Because I always find it weird how bbl pcfc is different from bbl, but like academy teams are not allowed to ascend?
To my knowledge either way them and BBL have to split no matter what. So that raises the question on if PCIFIC could go on their own because last year they couldnt. Not much has changed.
TECHNICALLY, PCIFIC is their affiliate org,if PCIFIC win they should just end the affiliation

i guess its possible but the org that takes the slot couldn't take the players because rn BBL owns the BCF players contracts. I guess we cant say what will happen
It's likely that bbl only signed a 1yr contract with the pcific players to get them through ascension they will have to part from their partnership if they make vct due to conflict of interest and fair play if pcific can't afford to run the team for the vct year then likely another org will have to take their slot with those players
There were rumors that when BBL merged with PCIFIC, they paid €100,000. If that's true, I doubt they paid that much for just a one-year contract, because there's no real benefit.
