Any tips for getting better at sova/fade in ranked? I used to play every role aside from initiator before but wanna get better at those two when i get back to the game

Honestly, if ur dia and below, just train ur aim and become an aim demon. But uh learn a few lineups, make sure ur recon gives new info/a kill, use drones and tell ur team to scale with it, and just don’t mess up ur util in short.

Yea my biggest issue was focusing too much on the util and fragging way less than on other agents
I only play Sova / Fade and Ill lock Breach/Kayo/Gekko depending on the map if someone steals the recon pick. If ur lower elo no one on your team will respect your util or play off of it so good luck lmao
If ur higher elo:
For attack understand the different zonings of maps. And what I mean by that is util needed to clear a specific part. I.e for bind: prowler needed for long, haunt for site. Another prowler to possibly take elbow control or whatever you want to do in the round.
For defense don't use ur util off rip anymore especially with the cooldowns. Understand the timings
There's just a bunch of other general shit you need to have like exec and retake lineups but Id say don't learn all the other niche lineups and be proactive and reactive with your util. And change it up. If you throw the same dart every time they push A site on abyss they will wait it out or have someone break it. So try to have different plays ready
also abuse odin while you can especially on Sova
I think the biggest thing is protocols. I find beginner initiators are good at getting information but not great at knowing what to do with it. It's important to always know what you want/need to do depending on how a round goes. This'll probably develop itself as you play more but if you try to focus on it you will see faster results, especially with how predictable ranked players can be sometimes

as a bronze recon insta dart/eye main/mid if there is no noise and just tell your team to rotate based off that
in my elo nobody throws fakes or rotates even after they get smoked/mollied off site so it's better to over rotate and stack
rank dependent , lower ranks u wont mind being bad with util , just be alright with util by knowing how the agent works, aim matters in lower ranks, dont mind getting extremely good with util until u are like asc/immo/rad
