Well tbh 10 years old opm s1 animation is still better than most animes today. But yeah I get what you mean. So it's like average animation for anime like 5 years ago. That's decent then.

As someone who read the manga honestly there are only 2-3 studios which can give justice to its art.. i didn't had any expectations when I got to know about JC staff is making s3 since s2 was also a disappointment but less than s3

depends on how much you love the story, the art direction is marginally better than season 1 but tremendously more static in a lot of scenes. it doesn't help that the current director was mainly a hentai animator (correct me if im wrong)
