If he is still contracted with EDG there could a clause where he can't play in tier 1 for any other teams except EDG

This is so wild. Can you drop a source for this? This is a disgusting abuse of power from the org to deny a player opportunities to join other Tier 1 orgs. It's bad enough that his reputation is in the bin, but even if another Tier 1 org wants to take a chance on him, he can't. At that point, learn English and join a different region.
