RIP viewership in the remaining games

as much as I am happy for KRU (created this account just to jinx SEN ;) ), I fear that viewership wont be as high in the upcoming games now without SEN participating.

You cant deny SEN has the 'Navi effect', where their game, no matter who is against, will bring in at least 100k-200k viewership compared to other similar games, whether ppl watch them because they like SEN or want them to lose. Now without SEN, a lot of the fans wont bother tuning in till final I am afraid.

I hope this isn't true, but I think it will be. at least it make things exciting so i am happy

With Liquid, Fnatic and even VS, Valorant has enough viewership to go around still.

yes, but they are barely touching the popularity of SEN

just look back few days, FNC vs VS viewership for example

Sí, pero Sentinels tiene mucho odio y no creo que eso sea bueno para la audiencia.

Tomorrow Riot will announce to make them play Split again because KRUs Viper used a Wall that was too strong for a Game like this.

Don't even care about how many viewers the stream gets, I think the beauty is in the unpredicted, otherwise would be a lame game watching SEN kick tf out of a seemingly inferior team. But seeing KRU taking down SEN, along with the zombsNatio, is priceless. VAMOS KRU!

that would be true if SEN had won last masters, they were down bad and ready to get back into it, a lot of fans wont tune in and viewship will tank

who cares about viewership? real fans watch to real valorant games, not some social media drama and low mentality games provided by NA.

That´s its not important, imagine if the final will Liquid, Fnatic or something else against a team of emerge region (like krü for example), for be a first Champions of Valorant, many people will see it, cuz the hype of the first champs and the hype of riot.
Also, this is our first year, the scene get richiest and growing up in the audience with the past of time.

is actually very important. Many of the valorant viewers are SEN fan more than actual valorant fan (just see how many viewrship of SEN game compared to other big name team matchup)
this will look very bad for viewership as it just show a downward trend of viewership starting all the way from first Masters in Iceland. Sponsor and teams etc will be less incentivise to invest in the scene and it wont grow as quick anymore.

You'll still get a lot of NA viewers if NV/C9 make it, obv not as much but it's something.

definitely nowhere near SEN viewership. Just see C9 vs FNC viewership. Pretty much 2 of the most well known esports org in general. And that viewership come nowhere close to SEN game

True!
On the flip end tho, viewership is earned, not given. As the game goes on, new stars will arrive who will take the the spotlight and build their fandom. Sentinels didn’t have an army of 300k viewers out of nowhere, they earned this viewers by being on the top for 2 years now.

Fuck the viewership
That's riots problem, not yours.

And you don't even know what Riot's year 1 KPIs are for this game, they might be doing just fine. You'll never know anyway. Just enjoy the game.

viewership count will be down for sure but it is what it is. same on rocket league scene with NRG in NA. once they out. company sad, that's why they sometimes have 'surprise privilege'
