IDK why people are hating GE, they literally scout and present great talent. There decisions recently for taking platoon me, kicking out patrickwho, kellyS just show that They feel responsible as an organization and our working to improve
I will tell you why they were picked up simply bcz they are an Indian org but they ditched the whole sub-region killing the pipeline for any Indian player to play in franchise nd thus destroying local viewership. Their reasoning? - Indian players aren't good enough to win anything nd they will rather win than have Indian support.
Result? Did they Win?- Forget winning in 3 years across the 4 regions of franchising they are the only franchised team out of 40 to never even finish higher than 8/12 teams even teams like Furia nd Koi atleast for one stage did something but GE never even reached regional playoffs .
Half the Indian players don't even have the passion to compete and just do it for the money, some of them even believe that indian sub region is as competitive and good as other SEA sub regions💀
how many even exist ? What is there to be passionate about even ? Even if 2-3 are trying they cant even find 5 good players to win and what to grind for there's no reason left anymore either for most ? This isnt the argument about if they are good or bad I was just telling him why GE is hated and what have they done wrong

Well tell them to do something then , atleast appear on charts for some people to say these are good players and can do shit in future. Source is evidence from the last few years, how are the same pros aged 24-25 years approx always better than the new younger players coming in who are like 18-19? Not expecting a masterclass but atleast show good mechanics . GE academy had arubyz as coach except even there players didn't show good stuff I bet you are one of those people who say india is a vishwaguru.

highest at the moment is Yuvi at 181 and then Kibojn at 186 then RVK nd Karam1l afaik . But again that's not an argument ranked isnt everything Georggy is no. 1 ranked player rn and he was playing in India was he the best player here didnt many Indians play better than him ?
My argument wasn't that make a 5 man Indian team and we will dominate pacific or something. Whole world knows we dont even have big enough serious playerbase but doesnt mean you get to be amongst the top 10 teams selected on country's representation and then you completely leave them in dust and dont produce any result yourself either . Till date neither has GE managed to create any structure for Indians to compete nor have they won anything either it's been complete waste of time . Whole fanbase is casual at this point or just fans of Sentinels,PRX and Fnatic that's how badly GE has messed up a golden opportunity they had to define path for themseleves and a whole region
They have managed to create a structure for Indians to survive that is their academy team, now tell me from those players only yuvi is good as a new prospect , tell me about others? Did they progress even after 5-6 months of professional coaching in vcl fuck no., also somehow u think that though we never have done good before somehow if GE takes 5 indian players and make them grind they will somehow become really good ? Maybe they can buy GE doesn't have enough money to experiment around like that. Also if u actually believe that let's be real, next year is coming u don't have ascension directly u get to compete in vct t1 level and can even qualify for champs, lets see how the Indian rep team does there
LOL again GE didn't make academy bcz they care about India they did to try and save their slot in franchising which anyways is gone tbh from them , They dropped the academy as soon as season got over while every other org kept theirs so much for the efforts for the region they represent. If you will ask them GE is egositic enough to tell you they are here on merit and not bcz they represent India its not worth defending them brother I did too till I felt they cared but now they are just trying to make as much profit as possible that's it . And GE Acad didnt have good enough players Arubyz was literally the best coach in VCL India this year and he produced decent results with them academy finished ahead of many teams and Yuvi improved a lot in that time.
I dont think GE taking 5 players will make them good enough to compete but it will build a base heck even 2-3 indians will do so those watching feel that its their team, start grinding with dream to reach there one day and play against their idols and untapped market reaches its viewership potential so PC esports in India can grow for once. All this can be done if GE established a connect with Indian audience it exists and all that they needed was that when their experiments to win arent working then forget about it and build a base in India for India you will still net the profit all the same infact you make more through viewers and sponsors increase bcz winning and competing globally isnt happening anyways
Yep an eSports org is concerned about making profit- Literally no fucking eSports org makes profit ,not even GE. Ur reasoning is so bad, yuvi improved under arubyz cause he wanted to , others didn't improve , how is that even GE fault, you are saying that even though GE Academy roster existed and pracced with the team academy coach for 6-7 months and they still didn't improve a tad bit they should be keeping the roster, instead of investing it all on t1 roster since last year but u aren't completely wrong maybe they should have kept it. You say that if 2-3 Indian players were kept in GE since the start they are gonna grind and get better but ur missing the point that in t1 the min base salary is 50 LPA in Indian currency which is like fucking humongous for a 21-22 year old Indian and u think they gonna grind when they get that much easily. Even in t2 the avg salary is around 5-6 LPA and better players get like 7-8 LPA , which is pretty nice for a 18,19,20 year olds and even higher ages and which makes them comfortable and not grind
There zero passion drive left in Indian players except for prodigies all go for the bag even in ranked they don’t show as much interest

I can still ease on koi but you cannot say Furia man even outside of visa they just don’t try good enough we can even the management decisions by BR people on other orgs as well for ex the recent Artzin one. even with the bad results GE trying its level best to be competitive even if you delete last year they are the best positive management even if things not working for them
Koi has a single 6th place finish to their name was on reddit graphic recently idk when it came though similarly Furia has placed even higher I guess it was in 2023 with that khalil etc team
edit: found it KOI was 6th in 2023 kickoff and 3rd in last chance qualfier that year while Furia was 5TH-6TH in playoffs of regular stage in 2023. GE hasnt even done that people just dont realise how atrocious GE's record is bcz nobody really cares about them as such

True they have the intention to improve and are in procces towards it, imo they just need some time to refine this current roster rather than making sudden moves again after already doing big change not long ago.
agreed, they did really good moves this year,but it didnt work cuz of their luck,but if they managed to keep udotan,kr1stal and ban maybe it will work out

There is not 1 reason to keep GE in franchising after 2026.

Riot will probably get S8UL in 2027 from India which will guarantee better results in all of the above .

Not in PC esports , also there is no Indian player on the team.
So, nobody bothers to watch them play.
But s8ul on otherhand will have 50x numbers , they are basically KOI / Gentle Mates of India.
Indians more likely to watch Esport with game that they can play so mostly Mobile Esport, same thing with Indonesian.
S8UL ain't guaranteed shit, they have close to zero clue Abt valorant since majority funds are spent by them on bgmi shit
They will do better on all parameters than GE tbh . They may not win much but let's be honest neither GE wins anything right but they can grow the viewership make valorant reach places it hasnt and that's all Riot wants and that's all India can offer at the moment
Brother ge don't even have a valorant creator. There is literally no reason to keep ge in franchise. They are most likely gone. Also they make alot of shit decisions . 2024 roster decision was worst any org could make.
Yeah this is the best possible move for both riot and India's valorant scene. But its not gonna be easy to pull of that M8 KOI switch.
