Not talking about history , form this year clearly Americas was the worst region by far in IL besides China who is (3+ years behind in macro and strats) through stage 2 winning champions does nothing to explain how boring the league was same shit goes for EMEA although the project interest and competitiveness saved them for me

also if we're discussing regional strength then average placement is a way better metric than total podium finishes
and even then americas still has a higher (or tied) average placement compared to all the other regions in every international
