That is delusional. Both tournaments follow the same format and are practically the same. Hence they're worth the same. Champs only matters more to Riot and that's it.

Haven't ever watched LoL so can't comment on that. I do watch CS though and Champs is a lot like a Major. It's the big focus of the game Devs and official circuit but it isn't really any more prestigious than Cologne or Katowice beyond brand name.
