I’ve noticed a lot of people defending the g2 hate by saying it’s normal and all trash talking teams get it, but they don’t.
If heretics or liquid lose they just get called frauds and people call for them to dropped.
Even when g2 play well people make constant fat jokes about them, I’ve seen a few people make fun of leafs illness as well. There’s no other team that gets as much personal hate directed to the players as g2, which is why it’s different

That’s perfectly fine and normal, I can even understand why g2 gets hated in game. Only problem is they get why more hate on their appearance and similar things than any other team in valorant, but because they don’t have big fan base no one really cares
My theory about this is that the team is so good in game that haters have to resort to out of game stuff to hate on them
Part of it is the g2 brand as well.
Also, g2 is a European org so most g2 fans are Europeans, who aren’t gonna support a north Americas team, hence why g2 have few fans
They also don’t have big streamers on their team (unlike tenz/zekken/som/aspas)
body shaming and personal attacks are a big no-no for me, while i disliked g2's trash talk and cocky behavior these attacks are not justified at all

Brazilians have been receiving backlash for the hate they send to pro players since before Valorant even existed man

G2 are definitely a good team but they get hated because everyone keeps glazing them as best team, team that plays perfect valo but have not won anything internationally. second the team itself has been very arrogant and disrespects other teams / players despite losing to them and it's not 1-2 members but all of them including coach.
It could be a team culture or their own personal way to motivate themselves but It does not comes in good light in public.
Example: in match against DRX they let DRX's 2 best maps - Abyss and Bind open and in post-match interview G2 coach said they have all 7-map pool and they are good with all maps. (it's true to some extent but you need to think strategically and not use your ego and over-confidence during map picks)
If they had respected the opponents and choose maps which were not very strong for DRX, they could have won

I think all g2 hate is kinda justified because - "You can't give charity when you yourself are a beggar." They trashtalk every other team and you expect their fan gonna stay silent after humbling g2 . No thats not how world works . You see PRX before toronto they also come 2nd 3rd . But they never trash talked , but g2 fellas think they are the best in the world . They only won regionally this year becuase all other NA team was struggling .You can take example of last year vct's when theirs a team in NA who isnt struggling , they won easiy against g2.

For something part man he dont talk trash first . He always response when other team is standing and trashtalking . You can see g2 game this year , torronto ,ewc billibilli match , last year madrids masters against th . And for boaster part man they have 2 international trophy , you first win and thentrash talk it will be fine . But after winning nothing literally nothing and being callled superteam orr whatever , people gonna hunt you down . You can see every creator / casters prediction starting this year, they hyped g2 like they are the best team , but in reality they werent . For personal attack its very bad but you can not do nothing, its part of life , you have to live with it .
I disagree with this last statement you made, there are definitely boundaries and talking about behavior like that is definitely positive. I don’t think we should just allow personal attacks because that’s the way life is.
I’m not at all saying g2 shouldn’t get criticism because of their trash talk. But that criticism needs to be kept to in game stuff. Because other cocky ass teams like th don’t get commends on their personal appearance like g2.
Yes, but its 1-2 players in each team not entire team including coach. and Everyone loves it when there is 1-2 such trash talking players or players who stand and their arrogance generally ends after the match and we see their humble and jolly sides in other segments or content and when other loose like Fnatic, T1, Sen, they openly say they played shit and opponents were a better team today, whereas G2 never accepts their mistake or their weakness.
