I'm from the US, its calc 1-3, then linear algebra and differential eq. If you get a 5 on AP CALC BC, then you're eligible to skip calc 1 and 2, which is what i did
Honestly respect cause I took bc senior year of hs and you couldn’t pay me enough to pay attention
Yeah im a sucker for math, that and physics were the only ap exams that I cared for passing. Everything else I just took for the GPA boost LOL
how would u say ur AP compares to A levels cuz A levels also qualify to skip calc 1 and 2
I had a whole ass conversation with my uncle (who lives in England) about how they compare and now I forgot everything 😂
Ab was integration, differentiation, limits and bc was series, Taylor polynomials etc
I don't have an answer for you bc I would have to actually take the exam for A level math. However, from what I heard, its typically harder (idk how much) bc its more expansive and BC is practically all calc
I mean its college dependent but as a mechanical engineer major I have to take calc 1-3 but after calc 3 I don't have to take calc anymore. But most colleges have a road map page for different degrees that show you what you should take.
i have to take calc 3 as a biochem major and most of my engineering major friends say its mandatory
