why do people act like DRG/XLG going back to defend their spot in ascension is a bad thing when they have been the top 4 teams in CN this year
CN Ascension atp is just how many rounds will other teams get vs DRG/XLG
you never know man xlg popped out of nowhere last year.. And drg choking ascension is def possible with wacky comps & flexin throwing.
T2 teams def gonna anti DRG most of their comps got big holes.. And I bet there are def new shooters in T2 good enough to beat drg..
DRG shouldn't have hired Nathand in the first place lmao, plus they should've found a replacement for flex1n earlier this year
"pop out of no where" its just because the tier 2 system is china is shit and barely anyone outside of China watches it (myself included)
better than nothing tbh cuz the Chinese tier 2 players improved their quality from 2023 to last year, so many CN rookies are popping off
I agree but literally no one knows about how the cn ascension runs even in China. Casual viewers can only name prospects that are in youth teams under big orgs.

I dont understand why is xlg about to be relegated when they have 16 champs points and edg 17 and edg alr bombed out 0-2 i get that xlg and drg came from ascension but why teams like "all gamers" fpx tyloo etc still have a spot while not performing at all.
AG and TYLOO have been performing very well during stage 2 but it wasn't enough sadly
still bombed out of playoffs not to mention wolves nova etc some of these teams never even made playoffs regionally or got in once and got bombed out insta yet they get to stay XD but a team that goes to masters and wins maps even matches gets relegated is just restarted just imagine the fact that XLG now has more championship points than CHAMP winners EDG and are about to get relegated that is MENTAL they are killing CN valorant potential

Also you have to know that AG and TYLOO are both way bigger orgs than XLG. It is better for a sustainable league system and who knows what happens in the future
Ofc they are bigger orgs its sad that its all just money instead of actually keeping the gameplay high level to garner more fans i swear no one is buying titan club nova esports all gamers etc merch i wonder how much money they pay under the table for those spots and how is that profitable
I dont understand why everyone is shitting on them even after they clearly improved. Both teams are clearly improved and the talents they picked were always solid players but lacks coaching depth. Also tyloo was one game away from champs so thats also why they are part of franchising
