It’s funny you say that bc I’ve seen a lot of people be shit at stinger in lower elos. If you know how to use the gun it’s goated but I see more spectres than stingers ngl. Idk about higher elos tho, it’s probably balanced in that sense….

anywhere other than low elo, stinger is much better. unless you're hitting triple headtaps, stinger is better in almost every way. like if you full spray to body, stinger kills faster than stinger, which is crazy, especially because spectre is 500 more.
i haven't played in a year so idk if there were balance changes but i remember the stinger being unironically a better weapon than the spectre in like every way besides mag size
