if he does not perform well at this champs i think its over for him getting picked up in tier 1 next year

people shouldnt expect much, either he performs really well or just mid probably the latter because not alot of time to prac
i agree people shouldnt expect much but as much as id like that to be the case hes pretty much playing to put himself in the shop window for next year and if he has a rough tournament i think most t1 teams wont look at him next year.
everyone is going to expect him to be like 2023 Demon1, people gotta realize that he hasnt played much pro play at all this year. if he does bad people are just gonna farm "dem0n0" because he didnt drop 80 in a b03
Stop expecting him to drop 50+, he’s clearly out of form and is playing a new role on a new team from a different region.

i dont expect him to drop insane statistics but i think if he doesnt have higher than a 1.0 k/d teams will look to other players before him and the amount of spots are already pretty limited.
tbf he would have good excuses for not being able to perform, and I think him dropping ~0.9 kd wouldn't change anything to his stocks at all. If you want him to suceed I think you gotta pray he has around 1.10kd realistitcally and a few rounds where he takes over. Nothing too crazy but enought to show that he's still got it
as long as he has the amount of impact like Alfajer had on fnatic during Toronto THEN we can officially say demon1 isn't washed

He doesn't have to play amazing but I just hope he's solid enough, that's totally fine for someone who hasn't had much prac in a while
He just needs to do better than XLG! and his recent form has been pretty good so I'm optimistic
