For those that make posts titled "100T fix" or "100T rebuild" and somehow don't include Cryo, what is going through your brain?

That man is the only reason your team has been afloat since 2023. I promise you agent pool is not the issue, there are STAR players all around the world that play 2, maybe 3 agents total. The man is an insane Jett player and a good Yoru player that can flex onto orb smokes really well and is Top 3 Chambers itw and somehow y'all have let your love for Asuna delude yourself into thinking dropping Cryo is the issue? Asuna can literally only play initiator (which is stupid cause Eeiu is on the team) and Raze (which is actually quite good, his raze is 3rd best in Americas imo), he is not a good enough flex in today's game.

Coaching change + Timotino + An actual Sentinel and this team is probably top 4 in the region next year

theres no way you just said cryo is a good yoru player and also said this:
Asuna can literally only play initiator (which is stupid cause Eeiu is on the team)
lost all credibility right there itself. initiator isnt just one role, it's split into recon and flash/flex. eeiu cannot play flash initiator, he can only play scan.
asuna is horrible on duelist but is a great flex and should stay as 1 on the team. the moment they get a coach that stops griefing his roles youll realize that.

nonetheless cryo is a problem on the team but i feel it can be rectified if he tries flexing onto sentinel. being good at jett means nothing when that agent is not meta and likely wont be meta anytime soon. his yoru is not good, its acceptable. being able to frag on an agent doesnt make you good at it. just makes you a good shooter.

Asuna is only good at flash initiator + Raze and flash initiators aren't in the meta anymore, He is an ass flex and can't even play omen well and looked ass on Sage vs C9.

I remember you, ur the guy who wouldn't stop arguing about Asuna on a 100T thread a while back. I'm not interested in reading ur paragraphs, since we can just wait and the bum will get dropped in a couple months.

Cryo is the future of 100T and anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded or braindead. He's literally been keeping this team afloat since 2023. Asuna has a place on EG, but definitely not 100T

flash initiators aren't in the meta anymore you're right, but notice how i said flash/flex that role also includes agents such as yoru. eeiu cannot fill that role and cryo on yoru is omegatroll. you're either baiting or just don't watch the games.

i don't really have to send any paragraphs to prove my point because youve already seen what ive said. if he gets dropped so be it, i'll be happy for him. the team is a curse.

cryo is not the future of anything. he's a good player yeah but that doesn't mean he's not a problem. do tell me how he's been keeping the team afloat though. i'll be honest with you, the biggest problem on the team is the coaching. the players are good but the team is awful. if they get a good coach and drop zikz they'll be good. even with this exact 5 lineup.

i'd say looking at stats makes you more braindead than thinking that cryo isnt the future of 100t but you do you. again, hope they drop asuna so people look for the next guy to pin the blame on when they realize the team is still garbage,

Cryo is an amazing player but his inflexiblity just messes up the roles for the ENTIRE team somehow
Also Asuna is a flash initiator whilst eeiu is a scan, like i understand your love for Cryo but there are other players who could do his job better than him

Cryo being flexible would never change the fact that eeiu, Asuna and Kess are all best when they play initiator.

Cryo topfragged both his Cypher games last offseason but Zikz and Boostio decided not to continue him on that role. I promise you, if 100T put him on sentinel full time and coached him to be better at it, if they got a proper entry duelist, if they got a proper flex that could actually allow them to play double controller and senti comps, ppl would talk about Cryo the same way they talk about leaf and Meteor

I mean boostio plays mainly sentinel so I understand why they didn't want to pursue that but Idk why after benching boostio they didn't either get a main duelist or force Asuna on main duelist whilst cryo is on senti

because they made the change literally 3 days before the split lmao, theyd already practiced for weeks with their current comps and just needed a guy to slot into Boostios role. Itll hopefully be different after some changes they should make this offseason where they have the ability to trial players for their roles.

They shouldve made more changes last year but the stage 1 win served as a bit of a red herring where Cryo hard carrying every series made management think that the players were better than they were and that they were closer to being a top team than they actually were

CRYO DID NOT CARRY EVERY SERIES FOR THEM WHAT?? Like don't get me wrong Cryo was still their best player in 2024 stage but he did not carry them to stage 1 champs. Like why does every 100T fan act as if Cryo is just the only one on 100T who can shoot their guns when bang, eeiu and even asuna also had really high highs (lot more inconsistent than Cryo though)

brother the stats disagree with you, highest rating, highest KD, 3rd ACS, 2.5x higher fkpr than fdpr. not to mention he went +32 and +16 in the two games that actually qualified them to Shanghai (the two most important games)

my point was that he wasn't hard carrying them every series, each player on the team still had a good games and weren't just being carried by Cryo to the stage 1 win like you made it out to be. In fact the stats prove my point:

Cryo had the 3rd (eeiu), 6th (Asuna), 7th (Bang) highest rated player in VCT Americas. Surely you are not so blind as to suggest that Cryo single-handely carried them to champs when his teammates were overall just better than his opponents. Also it's very convient that you choose to leave out the two games where Cryo did inarguably worse than his teammates so you can push the narrative that he carried them to the stage 1 win

Cryo isn’t necessarily the issue, Asuna isn’t necessarily the issue. The issue is they don’t have a pure proper duelist player. World class Jett / mediocre Yoru doesnt cut it. And Asuna on duelist doesnt either obviously. You can keep Asuna, you can keep cryo, you can keep them both, but you need to bring in a player that actually solves the role issues they’ve had for two years. Also drop z0kz or make him AC

this is what I say all the time but I get flak from Asuna fans when I say both parties would be better after a split.

This latest 100T iteration had 3 natural initiator players, 1 smokes and one jett/smokes/chamber flex

in order to be at the top level, 100T need to drop 2 of those initiator players, and lets be real, eeiu is the best player of eeiu/Asuna/Kess.

they then need to put Cryo on senti, and get a flex who plays viper, secondary initiator and maybe some senti if 100T want to run double duelist on some maps. The best candidate for this would be a guy like Kyu/Kumi from tier 2 or maybe even a guy like Zellsis if sen decide not to renew his contract. Then to complete the team they would just need to pick up a hard entry duelist who can play every duelist and not just SOME duelists

ppl always suggest Asuna flex but the guy cannot play controller or sentinel to save his life, which forces 100T into double initiator (which is dead atm) or double duelist where he just isnt a great duelist outside of Yoru or Raze specifically on bind
