It's not really about how popular orgs though
I saw some points being made about how it is much cheaper to organize bigger arenas in Asia compared to the west, this could be one of the main reasons

but even still I don't like how EMEA has a 100 person venue for their big regional games like fuck off bruh

yup, its because the riot arena in los angeles is shared by the 3 riot games and league is usually on at the time in the arena
