Jake sin doing unecessary change, riot seriously need to consider step down this dude.
and leo faria next, bro failed miserably on wild rift and get promotion instead? make it make sense.
ok we can blame jake sin for many things but people have been complaining about riot holding pacific in Korea for like 2 years now. people wanted more tournaments in asia, like sg/japan/bangkok/manila. when they announced playoffs would be in tokyo everyone was happy about it.
only now when visas are an issue are we criticising the decision lol? the visas are org responsibility not riot
i'm pretty sure riot tells all orgs who qualify to playoffs to prepare visas
and right now the reason why players aren't attending Tokyo isn't because of Tokyo visas, but French Schengen visas (they need to stay in the country while their visas are approved for Champs Paris)
there's nothing more Riot can do in this situation lol. It's not like they don't do the same thing for other countries - it's just because SEA/RUS passports are weaker than places like the US, Korea, Singapore, etc.
"You don't need a visa for europe lil bro"
A Schengen visa is a short-stay (Type C) visa that allows non-EU/non-Schengen citizens to travel within the Schengen Area, a zone of 29 European countries with open borders.
The player in question is Patrick “PatMen” Mendoza, whose participation in the Stage 2 Grand Final is now in doubt. The Filipino Initiator has already secured a visa to travel to Tokyo for the event, but he has yet to receive his Schengen visa, which he will need to attend VALORANT Champions 2025 in Paris. The catch: while his application is still being processed, he cannot leave the country—effectively preventing him from flying to Tokyo to play the VCT Pacific Grand Final.
you might be retarded "lil bro"
