GenG biggest issue

Of course their biggest problem is choking away big leads, and we’ve seen them get nervous when it gets closer, but I think their core issue is this: a lack of adjustments.

It seems like GenG will do well in a half until their opponent finds something that works, then GenG won’t adjust to deal with it. For example, on Sunset vs RRQ, GenG were getting very little value out of their viper wall and getting massacred backsite, but they never really adjusted to it. They just kept running the same Viper wall anyways.

Pretty much everyone on the team doesn’t change their setup very much even when it’s clearly not working anymore. Maybe it’s a system thing, or maybe it’s an issue with the players. Coaches should def have some blame.

They don't have a mid rounder (secondary igl)....the whole team is heavily dependent on munchkin's calls

I definitely agree, but I also think that the players individually don’t seem to make adjustments to how they play, like their specific positioning on site or what timings they chose to take

just like chobra said, this team doesnt really change their default so much, it makes opponents so easy to outread them, clearly they need to be more creative and not like being an oil drilled machine team only. coaches play big factor here
