Glaring issues with ascension
Apeks - Showed that your players getting poached can pretty much ruin your season (at least if it's combined with orgs that are poor)
2G - Had to compromise with their roster for 2/3rds of the year due to the 18+ age restriction
Riot need to give some sort of better incentive to tier 2 teams because orgs are still dropping like flies, and with some teams now being relegated (or having to fight to stay in) I only think the optics will get worse
Tbf with apeks, I don’t think they were doing much with that core. Florescent (accusations aside) was putting up numbers and they still couldn’t win anything. Not to say that she is better than kaajak

That's 3/8 teams, one of which is backed by an org which was supposed to be Partnered
it doesn’t matter if it was guard or g2. It would be the exact same guys. 2g and apeks are the outliers for ascension rosters. Nongshim has been competitive as a mid pack team in APAC, boom 5-0d stage 1.Xlg, drg, and g2 have been competitive, even making it to masters, 2 of them as their regions #1 seed. Majority of them haven’t seen complete and utter failures while having the same difficulties or not retaining the roster they ascended with. XLG also had to drop kr1stal due to
the difference in import rules and they were nowhere near as shit as 2g and apeks

Yes it does matter. TGRD would've never have been able to get someone like Jawgemo, or hell if they were anything like Apeks (which they very likely would've been given the state of their org) they wouldn't've even be able to do -neT +Icy. There are also many more benefits to having a good org outside of what you are shown on broadcast.
Boom despite going 5-0 in Stage 1 are now praying that DFM bombs out of playoffs if they want to keep hope of not getting instarelegated
(Although they might still get to go to ascension depending on the tiebreak).
That's also without mentioning the Bleed fiasco from last year.
Both XLG and DRG were forced to gut their rosters after winning ascension.

The problems you labeled with apeks are all financially related and nothing to do with ascension. So unless you’re proposing that apeks should be able to contract jail players while paying them an amount they aren’t worth, I don’t know what the ascension system can fix.
Financially unstable orgs should not be in t1
Does Riot give funds to promoted T2 orgs to use for players like they do in sports leagues?
I mean they sign the partnership agreement assuming there are addendums and changes made considering they are ascending and are give a countdown the second they do ascend. I think they might receive funding not too sure though
