Valorant's year-end premier capstone will begin on Wednesday, December 1. 16 teams from around the world have battled through their respective regions VCT circuits to determine who would represent their fans and regions on the international stage in the culmination of the 2021 VCT tournament circuit.

Though these teams hold the hopes of their regions and fanbases, only one can emerge victorious at the end of this 12-day competition. Nonetheless, VLR.gg has compiled everything that you need to know about what's to come.

Format

The 16 teams competing will participate in a GSL group stage format, where the teams will be divided into four groups—A, B, C, and D respectively—of four teams. The groups are as follows:

Group A

Group B

Group C

Group D

The top two teams from each group will advance to the eight-team playoff stage, where they'll play in a single elimination bracket to determine who will hoist the Valorant Champions trophy. Each match in the playoffs will be Bo3, barring the grand finals, which will be Bo5.

Prize Pool

The event's $1,000,000 prize pool will be distributed to the team's in the following manner:

  • 1st: $350,000
  • 2nd: $150,000
  • 3rd-4th: $90,000
