no... every team will play in gorup stage. the champs points just reward consistent teams so say if g2 fall off rn and don't make playoffs they would still make champs

the points guarantee is just a safety net if they don't make top 2, they still will play games in playoffs.

what? no. If they are one of the 2 highest teams in term of champ points, who aren't already qualified because of stage 2 results, they just qual to champs as 3rd and 4th seed.

if you mean if a team is already qualified through points do they even play playoffs, then the answer is yes, because first and second place in playoffs give you first and second seed for champs
