bc it should be based on how competitive the team is, furia being from brazil doesn't make it fun to watch them flop constantly when we could have a good team instead. If there's another LATAM team that can play well like Kru, Loud, etc are doing, then they should have the spot. If not, give it to some other team that can actually compete. well yeah not every team is going to make it to every event, but there's a difference between being able to compete with other teams and lose sometimes because games are close, and winning 10 games total the whole time you've been in the franchise. And furia is the second one.

also, the reason NA has more slots is the same reason why China has its whole own region with all of the slots going to teams from one single country. Because they're areas that a) have a huge population of people playing the game and b) are important markets for riot as a company. They both get more slots because there are so many teams in those regions. It's by percentage not count
