They just have to place higher than 2g and they stay in tier 1, and 2g have to make stage 2 playoffs to be put into the semi finals of ascension. If 2g don't make playoffs then they have to go through tier 2 again.

Kind of, if they make stage 2 playoffs they get seeded to the ascension tournament and have a chance to reclaim their ascension spot, but if they don't then they have to go through a season of tier 2.

S0n not need to worry about g2 since you aren’t gonna fight for ascension for them

so they dont make playoffs this stage they have to deal with the entire rabbit hole of tier 2, but if they do they just do nothing till the end of next year and play the ascension LAN, they lose they gotta play 2027 tier 2, if they win they go back to franchising?

Make it to champions -> Stay for another year

If two ascension teams of the same region make it to champions whoever does better will stay in tier 1 while the other plays in ascension (I think)

They play ascension this year, it takes place after champs, so they don't have to wait a whole year.
