only matters in a best of 5, most teams can play nearly every map except like 1/2 perma bans

i dont think ive seen many map picks get traded. also if a team trades map picks often its probably just because theyre trolling their vetos, reinforcing the importance of map veto
At the start of stages map picks matter less because teams are unsure of what works for them and they dont know what their opponets are good at
biggest example I can think of is KRU v LOUD at kick off this year where both teams won each others map picks 13-2, 13-3
