I mean this is no where near a lol esports song
But whatever dint expect much
dolphincandy [#9]Its created for the general public not esports fans sadge
Bruh riot use songs as a media of marketing for general public so few of them start playing the game
Props to Riot music and video production team. As a First Champion song, it is pretty good.
SexualTeacher [#14]lol was better
ofc it is lmao its 11 years old lol and valorant is 1 year old 1head
cool but for their biggest event of the year its kinda average. Or maybe its just that they have raised the bar so much in all their previous edits that it makes me feel like that. song is fire tho..
Actually pretty good song and cool video. Not on LoL level yet, but its understandable.
patuj [#19]Actually pretty good song and cool video. Not on LoL level yet, but its understandable.
I agree still good tho.
ZoldyK [#4]Kind of meh
felt same ... its decent but not as great as their previous concepts especially considering Champions is their biggest event in 2021.

ngl the reykjavik edit was way better
ZoldyK [#22]ngl the reykjavik edit was way better
they have set the bar so high yk ... this just doesnt give the same lvl of excitement.
Stendo [#27]Not yet on LOL level but understandable for 1 year old game
League's first song is still their best
ZoldyK [#29]League's first song is still their best
you wanna hear image dragon in valorant too?
ZoldyK [#22]ngl the reykjavik edit was way better
How can you compare the two? They are completely different styles. Riot esport songs have always had cartoonish style to them. 3D models made on computer vs drawn animation. You will realize this when they start actually putting players in next year.
Stendo [#31]you wanna hear image dragon in valorant too?
That would be hypee

Bro it's not about it being cartoonish... It just doesn't give me the same hype like the previous ones. You found it good, great, I didn't and that's fine too. I am not denying its cool, I just felt for Champions it could have been better.
ZoldyK [#33]That would be hypee
Hype but every riot games will sound same, good thing valorant trying new way with their music.

yeah but the guy was talking about "edit" so I thought he was referring to the videos. Just talking about the styles.
Valorant Lore is something that keeps on growing with every new video they post.
The song is really good and potentially foreshadows Phoenix, Brimstone and Sage's backstories.
Should've be a bit more energetical song ig according to esports game else it's sick
In the Upcomer article, they said that this animation has been produced even before First Strike, hence the lack of "narratives" in the animation, unlike LoL that there are already several. For a first song, I thought it was good.
would've preferred player's animated versions instead of phx sage brim maybe its just me but the song's cool
Arisqq [#17]ofc it is lmao its 11 years old lol and valorant is 1 year old 1head
how does age matter though, riot who funds both valorant and lol probably has more to spend now than anytime the last 11 years

I take time for the artist and music to find , which blend well the game surrounding and ecosystem
