i might be delusional and wrong but me thinks

1. they lack a secondary aggressive player to help zekken that’s a playmaker. n4rrate has been stepping up though.

2. they’re missing a star yoru player in the current meta and an standout awper. zekken is good but i don’t think his yoru is all that. tenz was better on that agent.

3. the roles are kind of messy. johns initiator util usage isn’t that great compared to sacy. he’s a great anchor and lurker and they’re aren’t playing into those strengths like last year.

they need to shift back to johnqt on sentinel and zellsis on initiators like breach/kayo etc

I heavily disagree with the yoru part, it’s not needed as much right now, but his yoru was very good
also this really just feels like an internal issue. yes, john isn’t as good with his initiator utility than zellsis is but they also just aren’t playing off each other well. at all.

they need autumn to fix them

Their biggest issue is that they have no synergy 6 months into a season, they are making the same mistakes we saw during the first time this roster played together

honestly zekken's yoru had a claim at being the best in the world on most maps. his oping is alright but not where it needs to be.

the problem is johnqt and zellsis' role swaps where they both transitioned into roles that they are worse in. comparatively johnqt was an excellent sentinel/lurker whereas zellsis has always been a good secondary initiator or general flex player.

i think the role issues are the only thing they should focus on for now, johnqt and zellsis look uncomfortable on their roles and thats the biggest part for their struggles. zekken can be their star player but he needs more setting up rather than taking dry fights (which fixing roles would help). also the yoru stuff doesnt matter as much because yoru is starting to shift out of meta a little (additionally zekken is an insane yoru so his yoru is on par with the best itw)

For number 1, I think its more of a disconnect of aggression rather than not having another aggressive player because almost every Sen player wants to play aggressive. The difference is when they want to play aggressive, like Zekken wants to take first contact, while n4rrate wants to wait until they or the other team exec on a site and other stuff like that and pretty much all the players are doing it.

flash initiator is in a bad spot rn anyway, so they really ought to just be playing double senti (or a GENG viper + senti) on every map it even half makes sense, which currently should be literally all of them. Honestly just put John on perma Viper. He's not on sentinel, surely he can't complain about not being able to IGL.

problem is for sure SEN just dont have a dedicated senti player, which is messing up the roles
but even then, I dont think having zellsis on senti is that bad, since hes played countless amounts of sentinel before.
people can hate seeing john on initiator all they want, but regardless of what people think, johnqt / kaplan has said countless times that his igling has improved a lot, that also includes him not being as impactful with util

N4RRATE has been playing that role when on fade or sova rather than breach or gecko which they simply shouldn't be putting him on.
You don't need a star yoru? Clear example GenG. But even so zekken has been one of the better yoru players this year?
Kinda? They're very messy N4RRATE can't play the roles he should because we're trolling putting our should be flex and one of the best breach players util wise on senti... We have 3 players 4 now because for some reason we think zekken and johnqt on omen is the move... so 4 players not being utilized properly.
