Is it cope to say that PRX won Toronto because of the map veto advantage? I think they deserve the win 100% and they earned that extra ban by not losing in the upper bracket, but after today's game I can't stop thinking about what would've happened if they didn't had that extra map veto.

we could always imagine. I would even argue, if the setup is the same as EWC, FNC wouldn't even attending the GF, as there is no lower bracket. So yeah, it is what it is

The map veto in the final definitely helped a lot. No Haven or Ascent is a big advantage for PRX. Haven is their instaban (which I still to this day question since there are so many viable options for them to play that map competently). Ascent is their secondary ban, but it's especially effective against FNC since their comp on the map is really strong. Pearl is basically a guaranteed map point. Lotus and Sunset are PRX's playground. Icebox and Split, PRX are very good but probably not the best on these maps.

if FNC didnt throw all the way to the grand finals then they were the clear favorites since they could then proceed to ban both sunset and pearl and play haven and ascent which would have really fucked over PRX since FNC is really good on those maps and PRX isnt.
At the same time you need a reward for not tossing all the way and its not like teams havent won without the map advantage before(EG2023, SEN 2024)
