The actual biggest problem of Valorant

The meta is so unstable that most teams going to Champions will need to revise their strat books because Riot will change maps, nerf some popular agents or do some other dumb shit. Teams have no time to adjust to these changes.

The argument of “sudden meta changes ruining teams” is overused. We can all agree it is unfortunate for teams that have “mastered a certain meta(g2 tejo)” but that shouldn't mean their ability to play around the standard meta and adjust is gone. By now, valorant being up for 5 years means that the best teams in the game are those that prioritize micro over macro and know how to adjust to whatever the meta is. The game doesn't only boil down to comp preparation and map strategy. Most of the game winning rounds were mostly caused because teams were able to play off each other better, (good timings, double swings, hard reads, mid rounds, when to be proactive or passive, etc) A good example is fnatic being able to get a lot of rounds against prx in pearl despite only having 12 rounds of practice in scrims. They played very good micro without having amazing preparation.

The fnatic example is perfect actually since they legit had zero plans against a really strong team with really unconventional set plays and they still held out very well. The protocols never change across metas and if a professional eSports player is unable to master the fundamentals then they're just a meta abuser/ one trick.
