they dont deserve this much of hate, they have good players, mostly professional (sen rivalry aside), hardworkin and have been successful since their ascension promotion and were descent when they were on Guard.

they've been consistently close to winning a trophy and reaching multiple playoffs and close to finals this isn't a sign of a bad team
a lot of the hate G2 gets seems to be because they were so good with tejo. but being able to quickly adapt to meta and dominate doesn't make them bad. it just means other teams failed . people even hated them last year before tejo was a factor, and theyve shown they can play well without tejo in this tournament (they only played twice this tournament) and trent is top 5 rated player so far in this tournament. all that's left for G2 is to win a international trophy and hopefully they will get one soon
