CS vs Val viewership

I see almost everyday people calling valorant dead and then comparing it to cs viewership. Of course cs has larger viewership when the game is 25 years old with popular names in esports and a more established community. If valorant was a couple years older I think it would also have much larger viewership. I also see people saying cs is better but thats literally just an opinion. The games dont have the same playstyle, sure its got the same concept but one game has abilities and the other doesnt.

I think so too. I also think another reason for vals lower viewership is the fact that more kids play it and dont really watch esports. Alot of people grew up playing cs and now watch it instead of playing (or both). After watching alot of pro cs I think that its more fast paced compared to val which I think makes it more exciting to watch.

Its crazy how bad valorant and over the last 5 or so years league of legends too have gotten in terms of their pro scenes, last year during Worlds a player named Umti trash talked another player (Levi) after a game and people were calling for him to be dropped by his org and shit

valorant wont get much bigger because they dont say fuck you and have toxic community... the game will die because they will choose to appeal more to kpop fans and women... why they prioritise 50% of population over having CSGO toxic chant compilation...

not the point brotha, having the community be welcoming to women is a huge plus for the community. The issue becomes the obsessive stan behavior, and being personally upset on their behalf over lukewarm controversies. Examples of players with these kinda fanbases are boaster, forsaken and jinggg

literal non issue no one stops being a fan, because of boaster or jingg, its just vitality and navi are really popular teams in CS. people just dont watch valorant that much

I mean guys like Boostio shit talk and vlr (who are not the kpop fans) piss their pants. Valorant will be fine and eventually bigger than CSGO, it is much bigger in Asia and specifically China, it appeals much more to women, and it has much higher regional disparity.

CS is only bigger and more passionate now because it is 25 years old and a lot of the community grew up watching it. Kinda hard to be super passionate for a game that you started playing at like 16 or 17, and I guarantee that most conventional sports are the same, as they started as gentlemens game but became a way of life for ppl who grew up watching it

Valorant has much higher chinese viewership. In Europe CS immensely dwarfs Valorant that is true

Cs getting numbers (viewers) but not getting anti-cheat is crazy. A random dude created a post abt subtick being awful. Crazy how the team which patches the game doesn't see the problem but a random guy does kekw.

I mean, the cs pro scene has had a pretty steady viewership since csgo was launched and I can guarantee that a large part of the current viewers watched csgo back in the day

Yes but my point is it's not true for every game..there's no telling valorant won't be dead in the next couple years we have seen many games come and go like valorant
