Single elim has higher stakes so its definitely more hype, but lower bracket runs are fun to watch

there's wayyy too few games/events to do a single elimination tournament.

in sports a lot of continental events are single elim. because you'll still see those teams playing in their national league (uefa for example plays their games midweek with national leagues playing in the weekend).
