He just feels so dogshit when viper exists. Any capable team would just texture nade you 24/7 on attack and rush you anyway, and the trip on mid is easly breakable. Doble duel/init feels so much stronger and allows you to do a lot of different execs

Yeah sure in ranked i also use him perma but in pro play any coordinated team would just shit on him perma. Such an outdated and underwhelming pick, vyse/deadlock hard clears if you want a senti with the viper

the trip at mid is not easily breakable because you have to take a bigger risk than a normal trip
if someone is playing off the contact of the trip with a phantom they'll probably get a multi kill

there not played for defense power its about pressure on A and B on attk since its heavy rotate map mid trip isnt as weak as u think
