literally no one cares about viewership u guys are so competitive when cs is been out for a long long time while valorant is still expanding. Both are great games in a different way no need to make hate and irrelevant threads about it. I love valorant!!!

eh well viewership matters to judge how famous a game is. and tbh cs go crushed it today. valorant will do the same some day when riot holds an LAN event with crowd.

i know why viewership in csgo is still high because most valorant players has a background of playing cs while others started in valorant

yeah because cs go is the most similar game to val. so people are using their pro cs 5 v 5 shooter experience in valorant.

look at pubg, it was by far the most popular game on steam, and after a year or two it died completely
So your logic is false

new games always do best at their first 3 years, then they die, same with val

sure league of legends having 100k on twitch for 8+ years counter your point

this league argument is the most 4head argument ever, just because its made by the same developer doesnt mean its not going to die

My argument has nothing to do with Riot Games, you are just dumb

Yes you missed, I just said that league of legends is an old game that has been on top of twitch for years, if what he said was true League should be dead dumbfuck

he meant that new games usually die in 3 or less years like ow,r6s,fortnite etc,and valorant falls into that category of games, again league, dota and cs were released at a time when gaming and esports wasnt that mainsream yet and managed to stay relevant and establish themselves as "classics" because they were original and there were way less games like that at the time, its completely different from this day and valorant fucking retard

Dude I will not waste my time with you. I will just say this, just like League took over Dota, Valo will do the same with CS. Keep posting on a website for a dead game kid

Also Apex Legends somehow saved itself going from 20k to 100k viewers since its release in 2019

cs and lol was a new game someday too. so by your logic they should be dead not breaking viewership records.

can i ask what is so unique and special about valorant that it will survive for the next 10 years,or even top cs at any point, also when cs and lol were released esports was still a new thing and wasnt that popular, now we literally have had like 10 esports games in 2 years what makes you think valo will be there with the classics in 10 years

#24

val is a new game constantly updating and bringing in new players and expanding audience faster than cs go. so in 10 years cs go MAY not remain a classic and val might take over. like once a famous game pubg was killed by a newer battle royale game fortnite. i'm not saying that any game here is better than any other game because that's subjective. but let's enjoy these games today without the worries of what is to come in 10 years.

val audience isnt "expanding audience faster than cs go" and ik you dont even know what your talking about since they dont even keep data like that in public, there is no condition for val to just "take over" csgo since cs isnt dying at all

take an absolutely wild guess, ok? a game that's constantly adding new stuff or a game that virtually remained unchanged. which of them might get more new players at the end of the day?

take a wild guess,ok? if valve never made dota and made it today wich game will survive at the end of the day? it would become popular because its new and exciting but would never get at the same level that it got to today

are we talking about dota and lol? or dota and cs?

pubg died because fortnite was released shortly after and it blew up, pubg had and still has a shitty optimization and is filled with bugs to this day

Same goes to your logic, judging games how dead is only from viewership? Pubg still holding a big tournament with 2 mil prizepool u dumb

But when Valo had like 600-700k viewers for the masters and cs had like 400k for some big tournament everybody was writing here cs dead game look at viewer count LMAO

Tbf CSGO is dead playerwise in a few regions. Mainly NA & Asia… It’s still a top tier esport. I watch CS but I haven’t played in years.

true. but now we have the CSGO number, no matter what happen next, we can use the major number to show them

heck, even the view number from blast/esl tourney will be enough
