ardiis was signed alongside Patryk "paTiTek" Fabrowski in a trade deal with G2 Esports. The switch led to a breakout performance from the G2 squad, while the Heretics side proved more lackluster, being heavily upset in the Top 64 of the Stage 3: Challengers 1 qualifier, dropping out 2-0 to BK ROG Esports.

Recently, ardiis has been absent from his social media and stream, tweeting out recently he had "been in and out of hospital." His leave is now confirmed with him moving to the bench on Heretics due to his health issues.

Replacing the Latvian on the roster is Amilwa, whose resume is earmarked by a stint with Reject$ and a tenure with volvo peek. On Heretics, Amilwa will reunite with his former teammate Felix "al0rante" Brandl, who effectively disbanded volvo peek after signing with Heretics in early June.

Prior to al0rante's departure, volvo peek was one of the rising mixes in the European scene, notably finding wins in the Champions Tour over EXCEL and MTP Esport.

The Stage 3: Challengers 2 open qualifier is set to begin on July 20. After failing to reach the closed qualifier in the previous Challengers, Heretics will have to start from the beginning of the 256-team bracket.

Team Heretics are now:

Ondřej "MONSTEERR" Petrů
Patryk "paTiTek" Fabrowski
Felix "al0rante" Brandl
Christian "lowel" Garcia Antoran
Amine "Amilwa" Saidi
Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks (Inactive)
Dustyn "nieSoW" Durnas (Inactive)
Ivan "Johnta" Shevtsov (Coach)
