BFX look insanely strong, Banger - SID - Cloy is such a consistent core and Hermes + kally fill the gaps realy well
SLT feel like SPG 2.0 where every role they have a raid boss (for tier 2); can they stop throwing advantages to beat BFX?
DRX acad are unfortunate to lose to SLT considering how close they played, Flicker and ZynX will be great in tier 1 very soon, ZynX>Flashback
Sherpa have some players with great potential - Impact and froz should be prime candidates for one of the better academies for Split 3
T1 academy has a rough situation having to replace their best two players, but not really sure why they have gone for Moothie + Efina for an academy team

ZynX is promising, but Flicker is not that good and I doubt it can move up to Tier 1.
As for Moothie and Efina, they are IGL slots.
Moothie will be in the military this year, so Efina was an early acquisition to take his place.
exa and Efina will stay for T1A next year.
Pkm was originally going to go to the Chinese team but it broke off.
So he may get another offer.
Moothie is in the military.
Gangpin converts to Rank demon youngster.
Kally reminds me of Ivy a lot. Insane aim + plays the high percentage most of the time. I definitely see him becoming the best kr initiator in the future. Froz and Impact has been very fun to watched because of how ridiculous their aim is. Slt improved massively but is still a bit rough, Xuna and oonznmlp has both been very impressive and Zexy and Klaus have both been very up and down. Overall with slt improving, DH leaving and bfx regressing a bit- vck has been very fun and competitive. And with very exciting up and coming talents, i think this has been one of the most fun vck in a while

ZynX pretty much doesn't lose a duel and plays the senti role a lot better than Flashback does; maybe not as good as Flashback at big clutches and opening round 1v1s, but ZynX is a much stronger anchor and has a higher floor than Flashback and i dont think it is all that close; DRX members have also said Flashback has a lot of confidence issues on stage and his play can be really really inconsistent at times, especially against important opponents

completely agree, although i would probably say Zexy has regressed a bit in split 2 compared to the rest of SLT, but huge cuz XuNa has stepped up a ton and really shown his potential, another strong initiator to rival Kally, Athan

Flicker most definitely can move up to tier 1, i think of all VCK players he shows the highest confidence and intuition in pressure moments; all of his decisions are very quick and even tho hes not the most standout mechanical player in terms of winning 1v1s like Klaus, Impact, exa, but for multikill potential Flicker has so many rounds of great positioning, spray transfer, target switching very consistently; he also arguably plays the hardest role in the team besides Athan, and he has been really quick to adapt to Yoru at a high level

ZynX is playing in tier 2, in probably the worst year of kr tier 2 so far during franchising. Winning duels in VCL don’t mean shit, Lakia was putting up similar stats in tier 2, that stuff really don’t mean much, especially in tier 2 kr. Tier 2 kr is massively overrated bc of spg last year. There was a reason they only had 1 slot in ascension.
Flashback is still a better senti player than ZynX at his peak, don’t let the start of this year fool you. I assure you, ZynX is good, but he and flashback are still worlds apart. Mind you, Flashback at his worst is still a player that can put up 180+ acs against the top teams itw(even more impressive considering the fact that during kickoff free1ng carried to hard so flashback had less work to do) while at his best 220+ acs while undergoing role changes that tanked his performances a bit. ZynX isn’t even a top 5 player in kr tier 2 so don’t start this narrative just yet

in what way can you call this the worst year of KR tier 2 when they arguably the greatest benefactors of the academy rule implementation; T1A, DRXA, BFX, GGA, Dplus are all really strong teams and i think the narrative that SPG has lead to KR tier 2 being overrated is simply untrue. that NS team last season very easily could have run the gauntlet in APAC ascension last year had they not narrowly lost to SPG in the grand finals. ZynX is at the very least in discussion for top 5 and im not really sure you could argue five players are substantially better than him. imo top 5 based just on split 2 form is probably XuNa, oonzmlp, SID, Iimpact, and Ramgi/exa/ZynX/Pkm are in contention for last spot imo; based on pure overall ability and future potential in tier 1, id say the top five is probably CabezA, Klaus, SID, ZynX, and maybe froz/Zexy
