Because if a team was great half year ago, but since then have been choking over and over again, what’s your argument to rank them higher? Which doesn’t mean they are not a great team and even a contender for champions. Is just that there isn’t any reason for us to give them that credit until they prove it.

Derke and Magnum are definitely tier 1 players tho, v1 has 0 tier 1 players, so you can't compare them. Fnatic will at least get to top 8 I think, they won't lose to minor regions like v1 did.

For me, tier 1 players are those whom you watch and think "wow he's insane", I had that feeling about crashies and eeiu(especially eeiu), but definitely not about effys. If you wanna see what a real tier 1 sova is- watch any game of Cloud on icebox.

Yeah people really be acting like they're some amateur team or something. Yes they've underperformed recently but people are forgetting they've had the most time since Stage 3 Challengers to practice, watch the other teams going into Champions and get ready. I wouldn't underestimate them.

because they are exactly like V1. had 1 good season and has been shite ever since. they were good 6 months ago not anymore. they had the second best bind in the world coming out of Iceland but then they ruined it. they also lost to VGIA who are not as good as any other team that you mentioned and EMEA liquid who would be destroyed by LCQ liquid.
So, Gambit > Liquid = Acend > Guild = G2 >>>> Fnatic as we've seen them last.
