TR laundering scandal breaks LAWS and LAWS are LAWS. Never forget this, LAWS are LAWS.
There is absolutely no exception for this, in Germany if u do tax evasion u get 5 years jail its one of the hardest crime here.
Riot has a zero tolerance politics in their ingame rules, for example voice ban etc. The rules are written that even riot cant do anything.
If Players evolved in this dont even get 2 years minimum BANN, this game has proven once more why its absolutely dog shit, lets dont talk about the other things which would tilt us.

only problem cNed did was not report the money/bits he recieved which is actually sort of understandable being a young adult who would obviously want money. he did not intentionally participate in the money laundering according to him. he was never even in contact with the person who sent the bits

so he got the stolen money and kept it for himself? thats even worse than taking a % cut. other streamers were washing money taking 30% cut. obv we dont know the full situation but with that statement it looks really bad.

he was unaware the money was stolen afaik

so he had his brother contact him for a "sponsoship", the deal falls through a/c to his brother. then he gets the bits but keeps it to himself? he shouldve reported them to twitch knowing he declined the deal but the bits came.

his brother made a twitlonger u should read it. cned denied the deal but there were threats of bugging the acc by sending them bits with flagged credit cards. as it turns out cned got the bits but didnt report to twitch that such a deal had reached his table, potentially keeping money from stolen credit cards.

as i know that he not totally Wrong.
“To be honest I don’t really have a statement to make about the topic because I’ve not even once messaged the bit-dude, he did not reach out to me [directly] once,” cNed said on stream as Upcomer confirmed with a translator. “He talked with my older brother… That guy sent me the bits, the bits transferred to me. I didn’t report those bits to Twitch, I acknowledge that. I didn’t report to Twitch and took the money. I repeat once again, the guy did not contact me. I acknowledge that even though I did not intend to, technically I got involved in this, unfortunately.”,Cned

How is not directly or intentionally participating in a money laundering scam worse

i have learned more after making that comment. i thought he knew about the wash but just didnt give them their 70%. he still kept the bits and didnt report the deal req to twitch which is the only bad part. the most he should get is a reprimand or a twitch suspension.

Imo it's not the worst and not full of bad intentions, the consequences are up to twitch and riot tho, hopefully nothing too bad comes into cneds way

i dont think riot does anything. maybe twitch for not reporting the bits when he had the chance. its not like he took the deal, so as far as riot goes this is not too serious.

I mean, as you said laws are laws, and precisely because of that, Riot can’t really do anything until there is a sentence and is proven who did or who did not do it. The only thing they can do is individual investigations like they did with Sinatra, but I don’t think is possible in this case…

keloqz to acend if cned gets benched? on liquepedia it says there were rumours of keloqz and nukkye leaving g2
he isnt as good as cned, and cant completely lock down sites with an op like cned but i think he is the best pick for them if cned gets benched and keloqz leaves g2

You expect riot to punish cheaters/matchfixers/scammers? Riot rewards those individuals with the safe haven that is the pro scene.
