I thought this might be a good time to remind the injustice sinatraa faced following his original accusations.
A lot of people are aware of the florescent situation right now so I'm going to put it in terms of her current predicament.

Imagine if:

RIOT immediately temporarily suspended florescent from joining any games.
Decided to run an "iNteRnAl invESTigAtiOn" on florescent despite being a video game company.
Assigned an extremely biased, perhaps say a publicly transphobic employee to judge the results of the internal investigation.
florescent was found innocent with the accuser fading into literal nothingness except advertising her OF.
That "internal investigation" STILL sentenced her a half-year ban and "behavior" classes.

To think this kind of injustice was applied to sinatraa is 100% insane whether you personally like him or not.
So jokes aside, if florescent comes out as innocent PLEASE remember what happened to sinatraa and SUPPORT HER.
Don't let this kind of bullshit repeat itself ever again.

Chet was suspended despite not being on a team, and especially in this league where "retired" players come back suddenly it wouldn't be unexpected for flor to have considered a return if this had not happened.

"proof" that was incomplete--both sides confirmed that it was an audio clip extracted from an original video.
sinatraa couldn't provide the video because he'd deleted it after breaking up, while for some reason his ex never provided it.
that makes her evidence impossible to authenticate and thus inadmissible--in other words, it counts for nothing.

if you really want to find a "difference" between these two cases, it would actually be worse for florescent, since there's a partial witness.

He was banned because he didn't comply with their investigation, and they launched an investigation because they were his employer. It's quite a bad look if you have a rapist (not saying he is, but that's what the investigation is trying to find out) as part of your marketing (which is what esports is), and trials can take a long time. In contrast, flor is not currently employed by riot, so I'm not entirely sure why they would investigate her.
