Would've been top 3 pacific in 24 (probably top 4 after DRX's improvement during stage 2) if they kept their ascension roster, but ofc rito's age restriction blocking ascension team after ascension team.

Child labor laws are much different in the West than it is in the East, In Korea there's not much of a difference between the hours you can work being 16 and over compared to being 18 and over.

Riot still has to to make it constant, they run an international esports that takes place over many countries. Theres also a question of fairness if your country bound

Riot could've also chosen different countries to put their leagues, LA not only has labor laws but also has outrageous rent and other shit. Hundreds of ways to make the scene better and yet they don't do anything about it.

it doesnt matter, they hold international events all over, your bound to run into multiple countries with the same laws, same with a majority of EU

International LANs don't matter, players like Less and Zekken were still playing at LANs despite being under 18

Dawg I'm talking about pre franchising lmao, Zekken and Less were playing all across Europe before and those rules would still be the same moving into franchising.

look at the times the event was run, do you know why they ended so early in the day? child labour laws. What about sponsers? sponsering a leagues where they are minors working is another issue. What happens if something like pacific kickoff happens where there is too long of a period where a minor is allowed to work? they would literally need to sub them off mid match

I don't get what you're trying to say here, matches during Iceland ended around 7-10 PM in their local time lmao and matches now end much earlier.

What about sponsers? sponsering a leagues where they are minors working is another issue.

They had big ass sponsors like red bull during 2020-2022 where minors were allowed to play.

What happens if something like pacific kickoff happens where there is too long of a period where a minor is allowed to work? they would literally need to sub them off mid match

This just makes no sense

OH YEAH another thing Children are payed a rate speciffically for minors, which means riot has trouble enforcing the league minimum pricing

Yeah children are paid at a rate lower than adults in normal jobs... There is no difficulty in enforcing that rule in esports dawg what are you talking about.

apparently it's bc of travel being a headache for minors

no, its because of child labour laws that riot has to follow

They had 17 year olds in the first season of franchising i dont think thats the problem

#15

not true, they made specific exceptions to those players, keyword "exception"

If riot defaults against child labour laws they can run into many issues

that's before they add the rule i believe. They add it in 2024 so the 2006 players cant play

They "grandfathered" in the players already in the teams pre - 2023 according to rob moore, which is why people like zekken, less, etc were able to play at the time

The problem with bleed is that they have 2 superstars players who never listen to their igl calling. How can a team function smoothly when u dont even listen to your captain?

even though bleed management were obsessed with picking up players that are clouted they knew how to scout for the right players I mean look at where juicy and nephh are at rn and egoist looked like their 2nd best player with the short time they had
