I do wonder if it will affect their best player since Trent hasn't played anything but Tejo for the last I don't even know how many matches. A part of me says it will because that shit was criminal and now it's nerfed to a way worse version of itself but another part of me thinks it won't since they are G2 and they can just get away with finding new strats and options.

the thing about is that you get dropped from a top level team go to 2 teams that doesnt have a proper system (he was a volunteer for bleed bro he was a volunteer for bleed) trent has his team rn trent have a good system has proven himself in 2022 with the gaurd etc etc
it all matters on the system and also g2 advance to playoffs anyway so they have a chacne to see what other teams are cooking up and adjust
agree with this. They're probably coming up with strats right now lol.
They have the whole group stage also to decide which comps would be good post-tejo (since tejo is probably never coming back - nerfed to the ground).
Trent is also an amazing recon initiator, he can play skye, fade, or sova. I'd assume he's a bit rusty on his sova lineups (I get rusty on mine after too many tejo games, but I'm not trent so), but he has more than a month to brush up on lineups (though JonahP seems to have his kay/o knife and flash lineups already back).
Also would love to see them pull out double duelist, considering trent used to play duelist on some maps (split, for example) back on the guard (dang that was a long time ago).
