So fucking happy for Verno, I have the MIBR flair on because of him. Was down to cheer for NRG this year because of him despite not liking some of the other members. Really glad he's on MIBR, entire team is full of awesome people and the way Brazilian fans have embraced/defended him has been awesome after FNS and crew tried to tarnish his rep.

I think it's more likely he was a 18yo who was on a team with 3 other members who were extremely vocal and though their voices mattered more than his. He said his job on NRG was to shut up and shoot. He has said numerous times that he frags better when he is allowed to call and dictate what happens in the game.

He's clearly very introverted. I think NRG's coach and FNS didn't give him enough confidence or freedom to make calls. In one of mibr's bts videos, there's a moment where he asked the coach if he could call over artzin if he had a read on the round, and both the coach AND artzin told him he should
