i'm trying to learn how to do this but it feels really weird to pick up does anyone know how to do it properly

im referring to the aim style where you keep your crosshair "locked" onto one position and purely aim it through left and right movement. idk how to explain it better. all i know is players like yay and aleksandar do it a ton

++++ not talking about crosshair placement or ADAD counterstrafing and bursting, i completely understand these concepts lol

you cant just ADAD when you want. there are situations where you can do that and some where you cant just look it up on yt or something

i have no idea what ur trying to say. also don't know what this is even referred to as, if you try to google it you only get guides on counter strafing made for zoomers that never played cs

You mean crosshair placement, right? It usually comes with practice. But you can find tons of videos on yt for assistance on crosshair placement.

no not crosshair placement lol it's a nuanced type of aimstyle i see a few players use that has a really unique smoothness to it

I don't actually think they lock their crosshair they just have very good "crosshair placement & movement".

there's a specific way to do it, obv you need good xhair placement and movement as a prereq but there's a method of doing it that i just don't know

it's hard to explain so im not expecting an answer just thought if anyone knew what im talking about lol

you mean prefiring? something like this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mblp0WNcQOk) might be what youre looking for. Aleksandar does it a ton

nono i totally get preaim prefiring crosshair placement angle theory etc etc it's something they do during aimduels

i'll try to find an example because my explanation is really lacking LOL

it's JUST the kill on the sova that i'm talking about. he synchronizes his strafe with the enemies and lines up the crosshair without moving his mouse, it's purely timing based if you see what im saying

there is a really good example of him doing it on ascent in a 1v4 iirc i just need to find it

u need to shoot before pressig d and vice versa, like: A shoot D, but u need to time it to have 100% accuracy

Okay to only use pure movement to aim, firstly you need to make sure that even tho your not flicking, there is a small distance between your crosshair and opponents position because moving is slower than flicking.

Move enough to have the crosshair on the head using a ADAD and not having to move your mouse -which is why there can only be a small distance (if there was a wide distance you would have to flick your mouse instead). This is a way to micro adjust more consistently however is not very good if they hit a shot on you. (Which would slow you down

Thanks!

adad shooting is kinda hard tbh, you just need to train it in range for like 3 minutes everyday adad tap shooting a wall and get the bullets as accurate as you can

u mean counter strafe? for me i click shoot right after clicking d or a and honestly counter strafing really helps

see when i had stable fps
i could do it , but only like 30% of the time
its unpredictable which side the enemy will move after the first shot so u gotta react fast
try to look at ur crosshair when u aim

Its Really Hard , train in the range
practice it with the bots before u try it in a game
also first try it in dm or unrated or spike rush before u implement it into ur comp

good luck my friend
