My thoughts about Brazil and SEA slots, come

Guys, you need to understand that Riot Games allocated these slots last year, even before First Strike, there's no way to change now, only after Champions. We all know that Brazil has so far performed much less than expected in international tournaments, based on merit we didn't deserve the 2 direct slots we were given, really. But what fun would it be if international tournaments were just NA vs EU? Riot's differential is that they insist on strengthening and investing in smaller regions so that competitiveness increases in the long term and so that people of all cultures can watch and honor the events, just as it is in the football World Cup, or you do you think the tournament would be more fun if it was just Europe vs Brazil/Argentina? It doesn't make sense, really the healthiest thing for the competition is for Riot to try to increase the 16 slots to 24 next year and leave 4 slots for Brasil + Latam, in my opinion the coolest thing that can happen in international tournaments is the underdog teams surprises and regions that we didn't expect revealed great players like Heat and F0rsaken.

It's like I think, but a lot of people here just want to give free hate in Brazil, I don't understand that, NA always had pathetic performances in League of Legends and Riot Games never removed their slots, but nobody talks about that.

If the international LANs are bigger next year, they will most certainly go to the more "deserving" regions and SEA and BR gets to keep their slots. We will get to see a bit of all regions but mostly the better ones.

In league even the weakest regions with OCE, BR, LATAM and TURKEY play the play-in.
Riot have a different perspective about competitive scene.

I'm not reading your dissertation dude. But yeah I love Brazil, literal tropical paradise. You still should have fewer slots though :)

I agree with a lot of it hahaha. But its clear you aren't used to being apart of a region that isn't very good. People definitely talked shit about NA League and probably even removing their slots. But just because people are calling for it, it does not mean that Riot will remove slots from BR and they won't I don't think.

I also find it difficult for Riot to make big changes in relation to slots with only 1 year of international competition, in LOL they usually give 2~3 years to analyze how regions are performing in big events
