I came back to this game after 6 to 7 months, on a new id and feel like my aim is pretty fucked up rn. So how far will my game sense take me in ranked before i need to seriously practice my aim. Placed bronze 3 rn

i mean as long as you like look in the general direction of the other players youre already gold
if you're bronze then aim and learning how to take gunfights properly should be your #1 priority.
deranker [#2]just do 1-2 deathmatches then queue switfplay, then queue ranked
the thing is i hit nice headshots on dm, but during ranked idk what happens i fold up and resort to crouch spraying
Work on crosshair placement more instead of insane flicks/aiming.
It will go a long way when people run right into your crosshair

practice avoiding couch spraying as much as possible, playing swiftplay first allows u to be a little bit more familiar with the early rounds of the game

do you think i need to reduce my reaction time, cuz when i am holding an angle the enemy walks into my crosshair but still kills me

play aim games/DM, that's all it is really

do i need to play more and more games to be habituated to it, i think after like half a year i forgot to aim

it sounds like you just need to get more reps in.
notallwhowander [#9]play aim games/DM, that's all it is really
is there a specific routine for it, or just vandal/guardian head and no crouch spray?

I think so

Assuming you don't want to go pro and just have fun in comp :)
If you know you have a slow reaction time, move your crosshair further out (ie. dont hold tight angle, hold a little wider) to adjust for your reaction time and as you get more reps you will figure out where your crosshair should be.
