Question about VCT circuit point

One Breath Gaming will play in EMEA LCQ by getting 3 players from forZe with their circuit points earned as forZe.

This made me wonder what will happen if a team with 6 members (Vision Strikers, for an example) split into 2 teams:
Will both teams have same VCT points?

actually with vision strikers there was the original core of 5 that won masters 1, so the team which has 3 of the 4 remaining players (one of them retired) would keep the VCT points.

maybe it would be counting the core players from the satrt of the vct circuit. Lets take VS for example. Their core players are stax, king and Rb. If any of them left the team, they would lose all their points unless all three joined the same team. So all three core players have to transfer. If all 6 players are core players, then perhaps it would be decided depending on who has been with the team for the longest. Idk how riot thinks but i would decide it in this way.
