Actually dumb, it's like the Olympic trans people competing in woman's Olympics controversy. So so unneeded.
The point of game changers was to include women more in the esports scene but this is anything but that imo.

afaik EMEA doesn't allow trans so this was given a chance to the lgbt community to enter as male so that they don't get flamed. hope orgs don't abuse this

actually trans people are allowed with sufficient documentation (i am an example :D) but for some of my other trans friends who don't have anything yet or for people in other countries where that just isn't possible, this tourney is exactly what they needed<3

i think it would be best if it was just rather that they just lowered the verification requirements somewhat, maybe if you had one trans teammate without documents they could just be verified through their 4 teammates saying that yes they are a woman as they say they are
not just for this tournament but for all preferably, but obviously there would be absolute dickheads who would abuse it so idk

basically everything sucks lol there's no way for everyone to win unfortunately
