I feel the general meme trash talk makes it interesting for people watch. Rivalries make it seem like there's more on the line than money/placement. Pride on the line is great for a storyline.
But yeah, each to their own. I'm fine with trash talk, as long as it's not serious. Everyone atm, most likely jokes about it (players, not forums), which I'm a fan of. If one region is adamant they're better than another, that I think is stupid.
